The purpose of this meeting is to review recent activities and discuss our operations as we prepare for our upcoming events.

Call to Order Recent Activities

• GRSP Service Project – April 17
  Good turnout – Led by Christian Diaz
  1 group of younger scouts cleared vegetation by the river 1 group of older scouts did trail building
• Fish Fry – Adjusted Event – May 2
  Goose Island to 4N Ranch to Scout Lodge Fish Fry Terrific turnout and great food!

o 2 eagle scouts: Patrick Hughes and Jack Connolly
o (these 2 scouts should send guest lists to Bob R)
o Will Helmrick deferred his to August, due to schedule conflict

Class A for everyone (No sash for Lone Stars)

Eagle Projects Galore
o Zach Poupart at Colonial Hills Elementary – will send

information regarding second workday
o Logan B – No info on Eagle Project
o Luke Lynch – finished project and MB’s, no word on BoR

Last TLC before the summer, next one in August
Landon Boone is the new adult Quartermaster (official plaque update)

High Adventure Updates

• Philmont 2021 6/17-29
  All set, final shakedown coming up
• Lost Pines June 6-12
  19 kids going, 6-7 dads

Meeting on the 24th to finalize plans

• Hut to Hut – Durango -July 7-12
  No new info, the numbers are unknown.
• N Tier – 2022 – June 28-July 6
  All set / Only Caleb and John C right now / avail spots This is for older scouts, 14+ due to difficulty level.
• Camino de Santiago – 2022
  No new info, need to have a conversation.
• Philmont 2022? – we have a reservation, but unsure of an adult leader.
• Wind River July 16 thru July 24 2022 8-10 adults, 9 scouts

  Meeting will be scheduled soon. Whitewater rafting on the way up there.

• Alaska 2023
  Coordinating with the Peeks.

  Last week of June or early July?

• Big Bend – Spring Break 2022 (see Scoutmaster Comments)
• Japan 2023 or 2024?
• Rafting or Kayaking – Spring Break 2023

• PL’s have been doing a great job leading and organizing scouts
• Special recognition to Jack Connolly and Carter Hartnett for helping LS patrol advance • Fish Fry – great job of a bounce back plan
• Thank you to Schultz and Dr. Taylor
• Troop Meeting led by Christian Diaz went smoothy
• Mr. Villaret helped with knots
• Timothy Shapovalov will lead the next meeting

Needs Improvement:
• Need to work on flag ceremony
• May 24 – Fun day (Kickball) during the Lost Pines meeting.

June 1st they will accept reservations / Will try to get 5 rooms Need to know who wants to go / May need to have 2 reservations
