How Patrols Work
The patrol method allows Scouts to interact in a small group outside the larger troop context, working together as a team and sharing the responsibility of making their patrol a success. A patrol takes pride in its identity, and the members strive to make their patrol the best it can be.
Troop 285 has the following patrols:
Lone Star Patrol: For scouts who have just crossed over and are working on their Scout, Tenderfoot, and Second Class ranks.
Once a scout reaches the Second Class rank, they can transition the next level of patrols with names such as Cougar or Nighthawk.
